This return policy applies to www.tripwaley.com (the “Platform”), which is owned and operated by Tripwaley, a sole proprietorship registered as a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), having its principal place of business at A-Block, Park Back Side Portion, 27/3, near State Bank of India, Shivaji Vihar, Rajouri Garden, Tagore Garden Extension, Delhi, 110027 (the “Platform Owner”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of, and must be read with, our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
What this policy covers
This return policy outlines whether, and how, a purchase made through the Platform can be returned or exchanged. The only thing sold on this Platform is a seat on a fixed-date group departure — a service performed on a scheduled date, not a product dispatched to you.
No goods, so no returns
Every purchase on this site is a seat on a group departure — a service, delivered on a fixed date. No physical item is dispatched to you at any point, so there is nothing to return, exchange or send back, and no return shipping address exists.
Cancellation replaces returns
What would be a “return” for a physical product is a cancellation here. If you no longer want a booked seat, cancel it — and you are refunded according to how far ahead of departure you cancel.
The full slab, the timelines and the method of refund are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In short: cancel 7 or more days before departure and you get 100% back.
Changing your date instead
You are not limited to cancelling. A one-time move to another departure of the same trip is free when requested 7 or more days ahead, subject to seats. Many travellers use this rather than cancelling outright.
Categories that can never be returned or refunded
You agree that certain purchases are exempt from any return or refund, and these are identified to you at the time of purchase:
- a departure that has already begun, or that you did not board (see our Cancellation & Refund Policy);
- third-party costs already committed on your behalf, such as permits issued in your name, non-refundable air or rail tickets, and confirmed stay deposits;
- seats bought on a clearly-marked non-refundable promotional rate.
If the trip was not what we promised
If an inclusion listed on your trip page was not delivered — a stay category, a named meal, or transport we committed to — tell us within 7 days of returning, with your booking ID.
Once your report is received, we inspect it with the supplier concerned and email you to confirm receipt of the complaint. If it is upheld after that check, we refund the value of the missing inclusion to your original payment method. This is separate from the cancellation slab and is not time-barred by your departure date.
