The cheapest way to find out whether you like travelling with strangers. A long weekend in the Parvati valley: riverside cafés in Kasol, the walk up to Tosh, and the 12 km climb to the Kheerganga hot spring with a night in a camp at the top.
Leaves Friday night, back Monday morning. You don't have to take leave.

12 km up through pine and waterfalls — four to five hours at an easy pace. The hot spring at the top is at 3,000m, and the camp is right beside it.
