Day 01Met at the airport and driven straight to Dal Lake. Your houseboat is booked whole — carved cedar, a private deck, and tea whenever you ask for it. The room is decorated for your arrival. Evening is deliberately empty: sit on the deck and watch the lake go orange.
Day 02Out on the water by six, before the lake wakes up — this is the hour the photographs come from. Back for a long breakfast, then the Mughal gardens, Shalimar and Nishat, in the afternoon. Dinner back on the boat.
Day 03A two-hour drive up to Gulmarg and the gondola over the pines. In summer it's meadow and wildflowers; in winter you step out into deep snow. Back down to Srinagar for the night, or stay up top if you'd rather — just tell your planner.
Day 04The drive follows the Lidder river past saffron fields and cricket-bat workshops. Pahalgam is the slow half of this trip: your room faces the valley, and the plan for the evening is intentionally nothing at all.
Day 05Morning in the Betaab and Aru valleys — pine, meltwater, and very few people if you go early. The candlelit dinner is tonight, set up wherever the property has the best view.
Day 06An unhurried morning, a stop for saffron and kahwa on the way, and your drop at Srinagar airport.
