India's most-loved beginner winter summit, at 12,500 ft. Deep snow from December, a frozen lake at Juda Ka Talab, and a pre-dawn summit push that puts you on top for sunrise over the Swargarohini range.
No prior trekking experience needed. If you can walk 5 km without stopping, you can do this.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Solo travellers who want the summit photo and the group that comes with it. Batches are capped at 15, with a certified mountain guide plus the trip captain.

Four hours through oak and pine to a frozen lake at 9,100 ft. First night in a tent, and the first proper snow for most of the batch.

A shorter day up to 11,250 ft, so the afternoon is free for the snow fight that always happens. Early dinner — tomorrow starts in the dark.

Head torches on at 3 AM. Three hours up in the cold and dark, and then the sun comes over Swargarohini while you're standing on the top. Down to Hargaon camp for the last night.

A knee-testing descent through the forest, lunch at Sankri, and the drive back to Dehradun by evening.
