Meher walks you through
Day 01Board in Delhi in the evening. Introductions happen in the first hour and the batch group chat has usually already been going for a week.
Day 02Up the Sutlej valley to the last inhabited village before the Tibet border. Cold, green, and very quiet. First night at altitude.
Day 03Kinnaur Kailash from Kalpa at sunrise if the clouds allow, then the landscape turns from pine to bare rock in the space of two hours. Night at Nako.
Day 04Tabo monastery — 1,000 years of continuous use — then Dhankar hanging above the confluence. Into Kaza by evening; this is your acclimatisation base.
Day 05The postcard day. Key monastery stacked up its hillside, the fossil village at Langza, and a postcard posted from Hikkim at 4,400m — it genuinely arrives.
Day 06Over Kunzum La to the moon lake. No network, no buildings, a camp beside the water. Sleep late — the sky is the reason you came.
Day 07Down the Rohtang side through Batal and Gramphu — the roughest and most spectacular stretch of the whole loop. Warm shower and a real bed in Manali.
Day 08Overnight drive back, arriving Delhi early morning. The group chat does not stop.
No asterisks. If it isn't on the left, you're paying for it.

why it's different with them
“Half my DMs are one question: will I be okay on my own? Come with me once and you'll stop asking.”
things people actually DM meher
It's the best one. You get the independence of going alone with fourteen people who also came alone, and a captain whose whole job is the boring logistics.
The batches are mixed, the rooms are not. You'll share with women, matched by age. If you'd rather a women-only batch, message me — we run a few every season.
Then you'll have a quiet week with good views, and that's allowed. Nobody makes you do the group games.
Yes, and please do. That's most of what I get asked and none of it is awkward to me.

still deciding?
Not a call centre — Meher runs these batches personally and answers the messages. Fitness, food, what the rooms are actually like, whether it suits a first-timer. Ask before you book, not after.
