I've never travelled alone. Is this a bad first attempt?

It's the best one. You get the independence of going alone with fourteen people who also came alone, and a captain whose whole job is the boring logistics.

Are the batches women-only?

The batches are mixed, the rooms are not. You'll share with women, matched by age. If you'd rather a women-only batch, message me — we run a few every season.

What if I hate everyone?

Then you'll have a quiet week with good views, and that's allowed. Nobody makes you do the group games.

Periods, safety, all of it — can I ask you?

Yes, and please do. That's most of what I get asked and none of it is awkward to me.

My first solo trip was Kasol in 2021 and I spent most of it on the phone to my mother proving I was alive. Now I do this full time: I go somewhere, I work out exactly where a woman travelling alone can sleep, eat, walk after dark and get a bus out — and then I write it down properly, because when I needed that page it did not exist. I'm loud, I ask staff a lot of questions, and I will absolutely make everyone stop for momos.
